Powershop rewards customers who are engaged with their energy usage. Their apps and online tools make it easy to see how much electricity you’re using and how much you’re spending each month.
There are three main ways to pay your electricity bills:
Pay when prompted:
You'll get an "Account Review Coming" email if you haven’t bought enough Powerpacks to cover your usage, or if Powershop doesn't have an up-to-date meter read. The email will tell you how long you have to log on to your account and pay for your electricity at Powershop’s best rates and/or enter a reading.
Pay in advance:
You can log on to your Powershop account at any time and pay in advance to lock in the best rates. Look out for seasonal specials and one-off power packs to save even more.
Set and forget:
You can set up a direct debit to pay your bills. You’ll still get your basic guaranteed discount, but won’t be able to take advantage of Powershop’s best rates.
You can pay via the app or online, using your credit card, bank details or BPAY.
Meter Readings: If you do not have a smart meter, Powershop will send someone around to read your meter every quarter. To keep an accurate account of how much you’re using, it’s a good idea to enter a meter reading on your account at least once a fortnight.
